I have finally obtained (via eBay) a copy of Richard Matheson's
classic novel "The Shrinking Man" (the Easton Press limited
leather-bound edition). I had long sought this item as I knew it
contained an introduction by HE; having now read it, at long last, I
can honestly say that this is one of the best (if not THE best) piece
of non-fiction writing Harlan ever did. Wow. I'm still tingling.
His intro has, shall I say, "special" appeal to those of us who are
considered to be of something less than "normal" height, but I think
even those of "average" size would enjoy it (if you can FIND it!).

Ha, I would if I could, but alas, scanning the front of this rather
rare leather-bound book would undoubtedly crack its spine somewhat...
and having finally obtaining this gem of a volume, I would hate to
ruin it! Besides, I would hate to run afoul of Mr. Ellison's
copyright attorneys! Thanks for asking anyway, though.
